Dot Distribution Map

Dot Distribution Maps use dots to represent a reoccurring event or feature. The dots help show density distribution of an event across a given area. Each dot may represent a singular event or numerous occurrences of an event.

The map shown is a Dot Distribution Map of lights on at night across the world. Each dot represents multiple occurrences of light. Based on this map you could guess where the highest density of people is.
